POLYVORE: All-Black Party Theme

 

I've found that an all black ensemble is considered to be a no-brainer - something anyone can throw on and still look fabulous.
But the trick is, it's better if you can mix and match - in terms of materials, prints, textures etc. so as to amp up your outfit.

Since I'm a little bit behind on the turtleneck trend and only becoming obsessed over it now, I like to reach out for it whenever I go for a black ensemble. To balance out the high neckline, I would go for a midi skirt with a side slit. And of course, not forgetting my quirky socks and Mary-Janes to complete the outfit.
